Hi, I had surgery July 2002. I am 12 weeks pregnant with baby #3.

(First two were before surgery). I gained 60 -70 lbs with the first

two. No complications, both vaginal deliveries. I have lost 15 lbs

in the past 8 weeks. Is this normal? Will I ever gain?

Please help!

Jenn

I had my WLS March 4, 2002. I am now 23 weeks pregnant and had lost 15

pounds..Then miraculously this week I gained 2 of the pounds back.

I think it can be different for everyone depending on where they are in terms of

time from their surgery.

Don't worry - as long as you are making healthy food choices you and your baby

should be just fine.

Congrats!

Jenn,

I had surgery in February of 2002. I conceived my son just 7 weeks after. I

lost 91 lbs during my pregnancy. I was so scared. I also had very bad morning

sickness. I took my vitamins and ate as healthy as possible. My son was born

weighing 7lbs 13oz and perfectly healthy. I know how you feel I have been there,

and everything was okay. My OB also monitored 's growth more closely. Best

wishes!
