Guest guest
In my opinion, I would start by stop buying any more food with gluten or casein. Start planning meals with acceptable foods for the whole family. Eventually, you will have no more gluten or casein in the house, and your 6 yr old will gradually be weaned to the diet. He may not even notice if you just " run out " of stuff, and don't replace it. Of course your hubby will ask why you don't buy more. He can get his while he is at work. You could say that you don't want the younger child to feel " different " for having to eat different foods, so at home, you all will go on the diet. You can pack the 6 year olds lunch for school - reason is to save money, of course
