Guest guest
Ok guys, since everyone has been so helpful with advice I needed earlier, I'm here again with another dilemma. I noticed that I am retaining water and there is swelling in my panni area. I know that my panni was not this way yesterday, and that it was feeling different today. Well, I finally took a look at it and it is swollen and it feels very bumpy. When I gently squeeze it it is very dimply. It definitely isn't comfortable and feels like if it gets any bigger it will be painful. Does this make any sense at all? I'm not having any swelling any where else and I have been watching considering that I'm 36 weeks and thought it was kinda unusual that I have not had any problems with swelling or retaining water. Anyone have this happen in this area themselves or have any clue what is going on here? I'm getting the feeling here that this last few weeks aren't going to be very fun at all and are going to be extremely uncomfortable. Guest guest
, I have no words of advice for you. At 36 weeks I felt like I was slowly dying. I delivered at 36 weeks and 4 days, then I was wonderful again! lol Pregnancy nearly did me in!
Guest guest
Sheila, From your mouth to God's ears! I feel like my belly is going to explode!!! I definitely don't want to rush my little one, but I sure am ready for her to leave Mommy's body! LOL! I keep thinking about when my last period was and if I go on that date then I'm two weeks ahead of the 36 that my ultrasounds have officially put me at. They say when things are swelling to elevate them, how am I supposed to elevate my panni? LOL! Axelrod Re: Ugh! Something Else, help. , I have no words of advice for you. Guest guest
, Thanks for your info. I have been watching it as I too worried it may be cellulitous. So far it has not changed much, swelling down a bit, but mostly the same. When I was in the shower this morning it did burn a bit with the hot water on it. I have called my OB's office to let them know and I'm going to take it easy this weekend in the hopes that it doesn't get worse. Thanks for sharing the symptoms of cellulitous as I was wondering what they were. Axelrod Re: Ugh! Something Else, help. denise, is the area of the skin that affected feeling hot or irritated like a sunburn yet? with my first pregnancy for some reason i developed " cellulitous " sp? on my tummy, it started out as a spot and spread and it was lumpy, bumpy and dimply and swollen, eventually i could press my finger in my tummy and the mark would stay, it reminded me of working with clay or silly puddy.i eventually my skin was red hot and lumpy and felt like areally bad sunburn i couldnt even sleep in bed anymore, it was agonizing. i know it was treated after baby with antibiodics but probably could have been treated before baby, i dont really know why for sure that they didnt treat it sooner as if that is left untreated it can get into the blood, i know this know but didnt then, if your symptoms persist and get worse id mention it to the doctor and if it is " cellulitous " it can be treated
