Guest guest
Margaret I would also like the answere to your question. Nik has had this rash for ever. I have tried nystatin cream and anything else that would possibly help, but nothing has worked. It has flair up times and then it subsides for a little bit. We are going to see a GI doctor within the next month, I will let you know if anything comes up. Hugs, Terry.B

Does this mean she should be on nystatin? I'm cutting down and down and down on her sugar - half a cup of orange juice a day and the sugar that I put in the bread. Guest guest
My son gets this all the time and our doctor said it was a yeast rash. He usually only gets it though when there has been a diet infraction. It even happened when my older son washed him with gluten containing soap. You have to be very careful about everything. Since we've been on this diet, he has gotten more and more sensitive to any gluten and casein. Red Patches on bottom Hi This morning, when I changed DD's diaper, I noticed two BRIGHT red patches on her bottom - one each side. She's not had anything like this before, and I wondered what could be causing it. She didn't eat anything different yesterday and I haven't introduced any new supplements recently. Any ideas? Guest guest
my guess would be that it is a yeast rash. Evan has had them again for the last week but they are going away now with his medication. He also was holding on to his penis again. So I figured he was having problems with yeast again. I brewed up some Essiac Tea for the insides and put Bactroban Cream on the outside. He is no longer holding on to his private part and his little red butt is almost clear again. I tried some Monistat cream and it seemed to make it worse so I went back to the Bactroban. It was prescription. Guest guest
Betty, thanks so much for this info. Does the Essiac Tea help with yeast? My 5 yo son just finished a round of antibiotics and has a yeast rash. I'm using a Melaleuca product which is working pretty good. I showed my pediatrician, asked him for a prescription of Nystantin and he refused to give it (big surprise) saying that the yeast would go away by itself. This is the same guy that told me mercury leaves the body by itself. Many thanks again - Carol > my guess would be that it is a yeast rash. Guest guest
I recently just bought the Pau d'arco tea. Did you buy the one from Twin Labs? Is it gfcf? There are no ingredients on it or a phone # for me to call. I know there is a website but I haven't checked it yet. Any info. would be great. Guest guest
Essiac Tea helps with a lot of different problems and it is my understanding that it also helps with yeast. I cannot find my paper right now. I have also used Kirkmanlabs.com yeast control and Pau D'Arco for yeast control. Your doctor sounds like the kind of doctor we USED to have. He said that there was NOTHING that we could do for Autism. That was the last visit we made to him. How are we suppose to help our kids with idiots like this. (excuse me, uneducated persons like this)? If your product is working well now, I would keep with it. I like to change off to different products in case one might not be too good to use too long. Guest guest
If your doctor says it is yeast infection and will give you the prescription for it. If he will not, I would try kirkmanlabs.com Yeast Control. Guest guest
I bought the Pau D'Arco capsules at Costco. And I did not buy it at first for Evan and it never even entered my head to check it out. Betty Re: Re: Red Patches on bottom > I recently just bought the Pau d'arco tea.
