My 10 year old was dx by our pediatrician w/SAD. I

was dx almost 20 years ago by a counsellor who shared

some incredible advice that I have followed faithfully

every winter- she said no matter what, no matter how

cloudy, snowy windy or overcast it may be - I

absolutely needed to get out side 15 minutes a day

rain sleet or wind - she promised me that even though

I couldnt see or feel the sun my body would register

the full spectrum rays of the sun and heal. I was so

desperate I followed her advice and amazingly it

worked! No I also keep a full spectrum light in my

kitchen and bathroom year round too. They are much

more affordable and available in local supermarkets.
