Guest guest
I had my twins preop but i had only gained 26 pounds my entire pregnancy. i did have them at 33 weeks so I my have gained more yet but my docs had me on a VERY strict diet for gestational diabetes and I really ate more even on that then I would post op, so I think you will still be okay just eating the best you can. Don't force yourself to be uncomfortable. I would get some fruit and veggies in whenever you can. i keep bananas and apples on hand and when I feel like it will fit I eat one for the baby, lol. It has been working so far. I think your little poopers are going to be just fine with what you have been eating. Even on that diabetic diet ( which trust me did not fill a bird), the boys being induced at 33 weeks they weighed 3#10 and 4 #10 oz and they were doing AWESOME and went home within 13 days, the bigger boy was home in 5, had to stay that long for jaunduce and littel jonathan stayed 13 days in NICU for low blood sugars but other than that they were perfect, breathing on their own and healthy.
