Guest guest
Evan's oldest brother is getting a teacher coming to the house an hour a day because he was just falling apart at school. He was depressed and unable to function, walking out of class when no one was looking. He would purposely throw up, wet himself, whatever it took to get home. When we stopped him at one thing, he would try another. Finally, he stole some change from the teacher and that got him expelled. We could get him back in school but he is too depressed for me to want that. Kids were teasing him because of his allergies and until we can get to the bottom of the sinus problems there is no sense in causing him more teasing. And it does no good to tell the adults. Kids manage these things behind the backs of the adults. One hour a day would certainly not work for a child like Evan though. Guest guest
You are right one hour is not enough for a child to get the proper education that is needed. I want to commend you on taking in your grandchildren and helping them deal with their issues, you sound like a wonderful person and I wish you lots of luck. If you lived in PA, I would be more than happy to help you out. I hope you can get things straightened out and find a mediator to help you deal with these issues.
