Ibeprofen is the recommended OTC drug for pain. I'm not sure how the

mito docs would feel about the doseage.

As for headaches, taking any pain med more than 3 times a week will

make them worse. Are you taking B-2? The head pain specilists usually

use a combination of non-pain meds to prevent headaches and another

kind to abort a headache. There are a couple of files on the

web-site about the meds used a couple of years ago and about the foods

to avoid that might be migraine triggers. Some of the current research

is indicating that all headaches can be treated the same other than

tension headaches which can be treated with massage and ice packs.
