Jocelyn,

I'm 35 and 25 weeks. I've been tired since day one. It is normal to be

exhausted during the first trimester. I was so much more tired this time

than during last pregnancy (1998). It has gotten better since I entered 2nd

trimester. But I still need daily naps (or at least resting periods)

By the way, this is my first time to post. I've been lurking since before I

became pregnant. I used this as my research for safety of pregnancy after

WLS. I've gained 15 lbs. so far. My dietitian said I'm not to lose any

weight. The baby needs everything. I'm pretty much gaining at a normal

rate. I'm dealing with it ok.

Thanks for listening, and I'm hoping I posted right. I guess we'll see,

huh.

I was soooo exhausted in the first months of my pregnancy. I was

able to make it to work but slept all weekend long. My hubby gave me

grief about having to take care of our difficult 3 year old by

himself. Man did he feel guilty when we found out I was two months

pregnant!

Anyway, I am 18 weeks and just starting to have more energy. Don't

get me wrong, I still fall asleep by 9 p.m. every night but now I

actually cook dinner and play with my daughter before her bedtime. I

really think the extra vitamins I take have helped too.

So to everyone out there struggling, it does get better!!

Now if I could just get over the whole " I don't wanna gain weight! "

thing, I would be a happy camper.
