Guest guest
Do you still haev your gallbaldder???? Sounds like I felt when my gallbladder was acting up before GBS though but still sounds familiar. If it is not that i'd say the baby is crowding out your pouch and intestines and i would try toe at lighter foods, even chicken noodle soup, something that can possibly get by easier. Just a thought, hope it gets better for you. God Bless, Robin, NorthEastern, NY Age- 41 EDD- July 27th, 2004 IT'S A BOY!!!!!! Guest guest
I had the same problem (one of my many problems during my pregnancy) and my OB also just said to use over the counter stuff and Tylenol for pain. I aslo called BTC and they suggested over the counter gas products. Nothing really helped much. I basically cried through it because it was really painful for me. (went to the ER 3 times!) I'm sorry I don't have any better suggestions. Laying on my side helped a bit. hugs, Josie
Guest guest
Demrie, It sounds like there isn't a lot of options. Did the physicians discuss your diet? My thoughts were you might try a more liquid diet or at least a soft diet. Your liquid diet is just that...things you can drink although soups with pasta still count. A soft diet is considered foods that don't require much chewing and are literally " soft " like mashed potatoes, ice cream, puddings and things of that consistency. I know that sounds kind of bland, and you'll have to be inventive to make your diet interesting and still get all the nutrients you and baby need. Think back to those first weeks post bariatric surgery. Good Luck! Donna
Guest guest
I agree with the other posters about trying a more liquidy/softer diet that would pass easier. Baby may be cramping your intestine and making it dificult to pass through. Another point is that our food is not processed further down, it just meets up with the stomach acids further down. Just make sure you keep up your fluids and protein. I'm 34 weeks and fortunately (or unfortunately) my baby is completely to one side of my body with the head on my bladder/hip bone and his feet in my ribs. He occasionaly moves to the center to visit and cramps my pouch and I lose all desire to eat but he then moves back to the right eventually. Hang in there, protein supplement if needed to keep your nutrition up without getting sick. Keep us posted and let us know if any works.
