Guest guest
Are you pregnant by any chance? itching Hi all, Yesterday, while walking to the store. I began experiencing this intense itching on my legs. It would only occur when I was walking. If I stood stil. And rubbed my legs, it would stop. But start up again when I started walking. I just wondered if anyone else has experienced this with graves, or not. Just curious. This itching reminded me that this disease is enteristing, and very individualized with its symptoms. But its good to know that I'm not alone. Oh and I am currently not on any medication. melissa r. green " It is far more impressive when others discover your good qualities without your help. Guest guest
- This happens to me all the time. I get it on the back of my legs, like behind the knee. It usually only happens after I've been walking for a certain period of time or a certain distance. Anything shorter and it doesn't happen at all. And soon after I stop walking, it quits itching. I have no idea what causes it, though, so I'm no help there. I'm just as curious to know! BTW, I've had this happen for a long as I can remember, certainly before I had Graves'. I may not know what it is, but you're at least not the only one it happens to. itching > Hi all, > Yesterday, while walking to the store. > I began experiencing this intense itching on my legs. > It would only occur when I was walking. > If I stood stil. > And rubbed my legs, it would stop. > But start up again when I started walking. > I just wondered if anyone else has experienced this with graves, or not. > Just curious. > This itching reminded me that this disease is enteristing, and very > individualized with its symptoms. > But its good to know that I'm not alone. > Oh and I am currently not on any medication. > melissa r. green > " It is far more impressive when others discover your good qualities > without your help. Guest guest
Hi amber and list, No I'm definetely not pregnant. In some ways, if I were pregnant, then some of my syptoms would have an explanation. R. Guest guest
Hi michell, Its exactly how you describe it. Occationally it happens in the front of my legs at the same time. And has happened for a while now. I think for at least seven or 8 years. If not more. R. Guest guest
Hello, this is the first time I have written and I have a question. I am on my 2nd pregnancy since my open ryn, I itch severly on my legs and I know itching comes with pregnancy but usually towards the end. There is a disease called cholestasis of pregnancy, a liver problem that affects up to 2 percent of pregnant women and may spell trouble for your baby. It happens when bile doesn't flow normally in the small ducts in your liver, causing bile salts to accumulate in your skin and make you itch all over does anyone know what happens to our old stomach? does it still release bile? I do not check this website to often so please email me, Thank you. ~Joy~
Guest guest
Joy, I had every discomfort and condition under the sun when I was pregnant but itching wasn't one of the problems I had (well, except for the triangle shape of shingles I had on the left side of my chest). You definitely need to consult with your OB and mention the information you found about cholestasis and ask if there are some tests/blood he can do/draw to check it out. Most likely he'll tell you to use lots of lotion. but perhaps it's your thyroid? in any case, best wishes! Sheila
