Guest guest
Someone (perhaps one of the many s?) recently posted a great message about phenols explaining it really well. It was mentioned that several anonymous members had said that they noticed that cranberry juice seemed to reduce reactions due to sulphur content? I would have thought that cranberry was really high in phenol because of coloring. Anyways, could that bright articulate person please repost her well written message on phenols as I accidently permanently deleted it and cannot find it in the files. Also, if anyone knows more about this cranberry thing, please post. I would hate to miss something, obsessive person that I am. Thanks! Guest guest
Ok, here it is and I hope it helps. I literally know very little about this diet, but have read Karyn and 's books. Hi! This is from Karyn Seroussi's book page 226. " In addition to dairy and gluten, many autistic children don't tolerate: corn soy egg yolk tomato oranges red grapes colored fruits and vegetables beef Foods high in phenols (frequently craved) include: tomatoes oranges cocoa bananas red grapes and colored fruits apples cow's milk (There should be avoided with children who react to them.) " I hope this is helpful! H 's mommy
Guest guest
How do everyones kids do on beef? We do beef with no probs (behavioral, stimmy, rash, etc). However, we aren't sleeping either. Usually a sign that something is in there that is causing a prob. We do beef every 4 days. I'm gonna remove it for the rest of the month and look for improvements. Just wondering if anyone else has probs with beef. Re: help!re:recent phenol post >Ok, here it is and I hope it helps.
