Guest guest
Hi everybody! I hope you're all having a good weekend- Just a quick question. Has anybody put pureed table food through the GT? Pippin is now 14 months and I am interested in giving her a small 'bonus bolus' feed of formula and some mashed fruit or veggies? I've been doing some reading on the transistion from GT to oral feedings and there seems to be some evidence that table food via GT can sometimes help a child with the transistion. Any experience on this subject out there? TIA Team Lapish Jenyfer, Dan, Tully & Pippin (14mo-RSS)
Guest guest
Hi! Everyday I put pureed through the GT. It goes very well. I took about a tbl spoon of pureed and I mix it with the same quantity of milk for obtaining a liquid. I put it into a 2 oz seringue and I let it drop in 10 minutes. Be sure you have enough liquid because if not it will be more difficult. Every times I try to give him pureed by the mouth before starting with the tube. Sometimes he wants it but normally after 2 little spoon he start crying so I continue with the tube. djlapish teamlapish@...> wrote: Hi everybody!
