Guest guest
My son has loose bowel movements for as long as I can remember. It improved somewhat with the diet but still not normal. Not to be gross** but it looks like soft serve ice cream only light green or very very dark. I don't know what to do about it. Edie
Guest guest
Hi all Loose stools, constipation... the diet does help a lot. My son he was king of loose stools for 1 year. 9 mos into the diet and VOILA' stools were almost 100% normal. I think I took a Polaroid of his first good stool in over a year! (I can scan it if you like?!! Just kidding!) The diet takes some time to kick in to affect stools. I have heard time frames from 6 mos to 18 mos. Hang in there. Guest guest
I fully agree with Lorrie. Do you keep a food diary? This is very important in determining which foods set your child off. We made a very simple form that we fill out daily. I will share it with anyone who wants it. When ' school insisted that we see another dietician, walked in there today with all this data and just blew her away. She joked that we probably know more about diet and nutrition that she does. BTW We have also seen stool improvement since we started Liquid Health liquid supps. They contains several enzymes that promote healthy digestion.
