eating problems

hi. its been a ling time since i'v asked for any help form you all.

but i sure could use it about know, my daughter breann has rss, and

i'm having a real problem getting her to eat lately. i make things

that she like but she wont even eat them. she tells she is hungry and

when i make her something she wont eat it. i dont understand what is

going on with her. everyone tells me to force her to eat but it end

up in a battle. so i stop doing that. i need help in what more i can

do. is this normal for rss children to go though this. she been like

this for two days..please help...barb griffin

- It is normal for an RSS child to have no appetite. There

is a document in the MAGIC library written by Dr. Harbison that

explains the lack of appetite better than I ever could. It is #H-27

and it is free for members. I encourage you to read it.

You are correct in that you can not force your child to eat. Study

after study has shown that there are negative psychosocial issues

for the child (and family) when this happens. The bad news is that

you have to find some way to get her to gain weight. Have you tried

Periactin/cyproheptadine?
