Guest guest
- It is normal for an RSS child to have no appetite. There is a document in the MAGIC library written by Dr. Harbison that explains the lack of appetite better than I ever could. It is #H-27 and it is free for members. I encourage you to read it. You are correct in that you can not force your child to eat. Study after study has shown that there are negative psychosocial issues for the child (and family) when this happens. The bad news is that you have to find some way to get her to gain weight. Have you tried Periactin/cyproheptadine? > hi. its been a ling time since i'v asked for any help form you all. > but i sure could use it about know, my daughter breann has rss, and > i'm having a real problem getting her to eat lately. i make things > that she like but she wont even eat them. she tells she is hungry and > when i make her something she wont eat it. i dont understand what is > going on with her. everyone tells me to force her to eat but it end > up in a battle. so i stop doing that. i need help in what more i can > do. is this normal for rss children to go though this. she been like > this for two days..please help...barb griffin
