Guest guest
I'm a bit confused how it could lead to a treatment, it seems only to offer a mother with an identified mtDNA defect (that is, make sure it's a mtDNA defect not nDNA) a chance to have a baby that won't have that defect. I look at it this way if I was a lot younger and was thinking of having children this would give me a lot of food for thought..it already has with my children who have greeted this news positively..are they going to be able in some way to help stop this illness going down through the generations...Any little helps with mito. research..IMO Gillian
