Guest guest
Hello, You can take him in to the doctor and they can give you suppositories for the vomiting and also an IV. The flu is nothing to mess with I would take him in. My daughter was hospitalized last month with the FLU and was there for a week and she is 18 years old now and RSS only 84 lb. Guest guest
Hey there Jen, I'd take him into emerg. right away and explain what you can about RSS and these kids tendency towards hypoglycemia.... Sounds like he needs an IV. RSS kids usually need a D-10 IV solution (10% dextrose) to help with keytones, sugars. I'm not an expert at all but it sounds like he really needs to be taken. Take care of yourselves. Leah > Okay, I don't know if anyone is going to get this anytime in the real near > future, but I'm losing it for the first time since Xavier was born. Guest guest
Hi Jenn;-) I just read your e-mail and I hope you were able to get her into the ER. She sounded to me to be dehydrated with low blood sugar. It is very scary when they become unresponsive and or lethargic. Let us know how everything is going.
