Guest guest
Aaliyah, My energy kick lasted a total of 2 weeks. Of course at 20w 5d we found out we were having twins and that made my extreme fatigue make a lot more sense. I don't think WLS makes us more likely to experience more fatigue, but I could be wrong. I really think that every woman is different and every pregnancy will have its own quirks. I hear stories all the time from WLSers and non WLSers about how they never got that surge of energy in the 2nd trimester. Although I am certainly " nesting " these days, I still don't have a lot of energy to take care of things so as much as I would like to do to get ready for these little ones, I have to space it all out and do a little each night or a little each week. BTW... that whole 2nd trimester sexual surge lasted for about a week, much to hubbies dismay. Toi > Hi all > > I was reading what Vickie said about having no energy. Well neither > do I. Guest guest
Boy am I in this club! I have no energy whatsoever, always feel like laying in bed and/or sleeping. I'm so tired that I hate going to work too...and I just went back! Funny, I whined the when I wasn't working, then my ex-boss called me back to my old position. Now that I'm back, I'm wondering WHY?!?!?! I was hoping for a boost of energy in the next few weeks too. I guess I'll just wait and see. Guest guest
I have been married for 18 years and to tell the truth both of our sex drive has diminished. (nothing like the libido of the teenagers we were when we were first together) I find though that the more I have sex the more the drive increases but for scheduling reasons we are just not on the same schedule where it is conveinient to have sex. There is so much more to our relationship than sex that actually if something were to happen to my hubby and he could never have sex again I would be ok with it and be satisfied in other ways. We tried to have sex on schedule for 2 years trying to concieve that neither one of us wants to do it any more unless we are in the mood. All that aside I have not noticed any increase in libdo since second trimester but I am older(37) and do feel tired alot. He gives me the most wonderful backrubs each night and it literally knocks me out. I have to tell you though if e is anything like me(I often have to " try to get in the mood " too) your advances in a sensual gental way will do alot to help her get in the mood. If my husband only waited for me to make advances I think I would feel that he does not " want " to have sex with me or (hormonally speaking)he doesn't find me attractive now that I am pregnant. I like to feel desired and even on the rare occasion when another man flirts with me it will do alot for my libdo even though I have no desire to have sex with anyone else. I am just telling you this so that you know that many women can " get in the mood " if their man approaches the situation correctly. That is not to say though that if she directly tells you no she is NOT in the mood you should continue to persue it that night. Just think about all of this and continue to treat her with all the love you have in your heart. - Diane > With me, I know that she is going through a lot to give us a child so I don't initiate anything anymore...we do not have sex until she asks for it...so then I know she can take it...has any of you experienced vaginal dryness during pregnancy...e has to lay there and concentrate to get in the mood and become " Ready " ...before she got prgnant...she was ready before she hit the bed...and now she never has a sex drive...usually women's drive heightens when she becomes pregnant... > Adam & e Gaspard > RNY 04.07.03 > e 370/245 > Adam 394/258 > EDD #1 08.31.04 > Kay Independent Beauty Consultant > www.marykay.com/starbound107 > " That which does not kill us, > makes us stronger " > Re: Re: no energy...? > > > In a message dated 5/10/2004 4:54:20 PM Eastern Daylight Time, > bmbglass3@a... writes: > My husband asked me the other day if we were EVER going to have sex > again.
