Guest guest
I have been sleeping the better part of a week nad a half and my employer isnt so happy... what do you do with your employers during these crashes? I have called in sick for a week and a half now. I can only stay awake for about one to two hours at a stretch. Thx
Guest guest
My suggestion would be to sit down with the human resources person or employer and write up an ADA accomodation statement. They may not be willing to pay you for all the time, but it is important that they understand that you do have a disability that requires this and assurance that your job is still there when you return, without detrimental remarks. laurie > I have been sleeping the better part of a week nad a half and my employer > isnt so happy... > what do you do with your employers during these crashes? > I have called in sick for a week and a half now. > I can only stay awake for about one to two hours at a stretch. > Thx > > > >

Guest guest
I usually try to figure out why I am crashing - it turned out that driving (at all) was making me crash. My husband started driving me to work. Also less than 8 hours of sleep was a problem. Finally, my diet affected things a lot. I would find myself falling asleep at work, but the worst was after lunch, I think I zonked for about 2 hours after lunch every day. I can't have carbs with lunch. I've done mostly deskwork, and sometimes in isolated locations, so a nap didn't seem too obvious to my boss. I've also taken family leave in incremental amounts, as little as a day at a time. Take care, RH > I have been sleeping the better part of a week nad a half and my employer > isnt so happy... > what do you do with your employers during these crashes? > I have called in sick for a week and a half now. > I can only stay awake for about one to two hours at a stretch. > Thx > > > >
