Guest guest
I am at 22 weeks and have lost 18 lbs and only gained 5 back so far. My OB wanted me to gain more by this point but is plenty happy that the loss is stoped and some regain has happened. I am not his onoly WLS patient so he does understand. I think as long as you are able to get your vitamins ect. in and enough nutrition for you then you are fine. Of course you definately need all of your water. It is not unusual for WLS preggos to gain very little or even continue to loose the entire time if they are early out. Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy and try not to worry about the weight it is just a number on the scale if you are getting your nutrition in. - Diane > Hello All. I am now at 21 weeks of pregnancy and have gained 3 pounds...is that is alright? My OB seems concerned, but she has never had a WLS patient before...What does everyone think? Guest guest
I am 27 weeks and had lost 12lbs, but I have gained 6 back. I have asked my doc about a thousand times if she was worried about my weight gain. She says as long as I am eating and keeping it down and the baby keep growing right on track she isnt concerned. She said my weight gain or lack of, doesnt have anything to do with how well the baby is growing. Dont worry too much about it. Good luck.
