Check out this web site, it gives several options, I've stayed at the

" Helmsley Medical Towers " and the " Bentley " , both are adequate and

reasonably priced for NYC. Make sure they know you are there for

medical treatment. Andy

The Excelsior Hotel is nice and they usually give good rates, tell

them the MAGIC Foundation referred you. but you do

have to take a $7-8 cab ride across town to the hospital. I've

stayed there at $139 or less. 4 star.

The Helmsley Medical Towers are right next door and have a full

kitchen. Even when they say they are " full " get on the waiting list

because every time, they end up calling me a week later. 212-472-

8400 but they are more expensive at $175/night.

Don't laugh, but I just tore an article out of the LA TImes with

your exact question, and the colunist referred the person to a Super

8 Hotel somewhere in Manhattan. or

www.applecorehotels.com. It said " I have seen the Super 8 in person

and I think it's a great value. Clean, good TImes Square location,

nice amenities. " I haven't checked it out yet, so let me know.
