Guest guest
I was searching for some ladybug shoes and found this person selling what looks like Robeez knockoffs. It looks like they're copying the design exactly. In fact, the link below shows a pair that is exactly like Darbi's Robeez except the butterfly body on hers is black and the ankle color is a little off. The seller has a ton of different designs available. Click on the store to see them. Not sure exactly what difference there is in these from real Robeez but they're quite a bit cheaper. They're all less than $10 and some are even cheaper than that. They're imported, but say they're leather. Exactly how bad could they be? It's not like Robeez are much more than leather slippers in the first place. Perhaps the leather is thinner? Stitching sub-standard? Or maybe they're just fine? I might get the ladybug ones just out of curiosity. Anyway, just thought I'd pass this info on. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=28013&item=4703561070 Kori
Guest guest
Hmmm, very interesting.....this seller is from Vancouver Canada which is where Robeez is located! At any rate, they look just like the Robeez so I'm guessing that they're just as good...if not better given the value for your dollar! Guest guest
They're using the old patterns I think. I just checked out the Robeez website and they don't even offer the plum butterfly ones anymore. They used to have a plain plum that I wanted very badly but they never came in when I had Nordstroms order them and by the time I got some for her they only had the butterfly plum. The new Robeez designs are pretty cool, so darn cute! They have a green with pink flowers that I'm going to tell my MIL about. She pays little attention to my children but she's taken to buying Darbi's Robeez lately and I think I've got her convinced to get Darbi a pair of those See Kai Run green mary janes when they come in after April 15th. Anyone know where I can get a pair of those ladybug Doc s in size 6 or 6.5? Not new of course!
