Milou,

I understand your worries. Doctors tell us that these medications

are safe, but there is so much more to learn. And it is not their

child that they are giving the medication to. I don't think they

worry like we do.

BUT I hope that you will take the same attitude that my husband and

I have taken with all of the medication Max has taken and is still

taking. For each one, we researched it, asked others about it,

discussed it with the doctors and ourselves. We thought about the

positives and negatives. In the end, we decided that each one he

takes is in his best interest. We made a very educated decision in

order to give him a better chance to grow and be healthy. We and he

can never look back and wonder what would have happened if we had

not decided to use these to help him grow. If, by some chance, we

discover that the medication has made him sick in some way, we pray

that there will be some medical advances that will help us deal with

it. For NOW, we know we have done everything we could have and he

will never ask us why we did not try.

I do help this helps you put things in perspective. Good luck with

Look at all the research you did, and all the thought you put into

this decision. That alone is worth a high five. Keep us posted if
