Guest guest
Debbie, I have been to the Holliston gathering twice. It is so much fun! Mark, a lately silent member of this listserve, has a daughter with RSS and he works at a church. Every year he gets the church to let him use the hall for an RSS gathering. There are quite a few families who go and Mark has it so well-organized now! There is even babysitting so the parents can talk without worrying about little ones running around and getting lost. This year the gathering is during our spring break, so I am trying to convince my husband to drive up there for the weekend. I told him we could stay in Boston and drive over for the Saturday afternoon party, but he is arguing that he wants to stay home and enjoy the weekend with Max while there is no school. Sigh. If I did not think I would fall asleep driving that distance (about 4 hours), I would just go myself. I've still not given up hope, though. Where do you live? Is it close to you? Jodi Z. Guest guest
--Jodi, Yes in fact it is very close to us. Probably but only a half hour. I have been for the most part a pretty silent person on this listserve just following along, learning what we can and trying to figure this all out sometimes gracefully and sometimes not. I did not realize that this gathering was such a big thing. Thanks for the response. Debbie - In RSS-Support , " Jodi Zwain " wrote: > Debbie, > > I have been to the Holliston gathering twice. Guest guest
Hi Jodie, Here is a thought. As you know, I am working in land. I drive home every weekend. If you could get to a rest stop on the NJ turnpike, I could take you to Boston or some place close to Mark's and bring you back ( rather late ) on Sunday. This also depends on if I am still working in land when the dinner is . Just and idea. Ken M > Debbie, > > I have been to the Holliston gathering twice. Guest guest
Hey, Ken, that might be a possiblity! I could have my husband drive me to the rest stop and meet you. The other possibility is that Judith and I may go up together. Hmmm...now I have a choice. (I assume you meant that message for me even though you wrote " Jodie " instead of Jodi. There is a Jodie, so I don't know if you meant it for her. I'm confused. Don't mind me. It must be the drugs I am taking for my foot that I injured AGAIN!!!) Jodi Z.
