Thanks --------------------------------------------------- I hope you didn't watch last weeks ER?? From my own experience.. Noah was active all night long and napped during the day in utero. A flutter is still movement.. could be sleeping and hiccupping? Try OJ or a Soda.. sugary stuff usually gets them moving. When in doubt.. call your OB. That is what I would do personally.... call and tell them you are feeling decreased fetal movement. They can bring you in for monitoring. I tend to err on the safe side. Trust your instincts too... if you feel something just isn't right..... persue it! I wish I had with Noah... he may not have been born so early if I didn't read the signs of pre term labor as round ligament pain (per the OB " s Nurse suggestion of round lig pain.. dummy) - Mommy to: Noah - 10/14/02 - 31 weeker - 3lbs 11 oz edd November 18th http://www.love-my-kids.com
Guest guest
She may be resting during the day and raising cain at night while you are sleeping. i can always get mine going by eating an apple or something like that and then rest in the recliner and within the half hour it seems like he is dancing in there. keep in mind that they are getting more and more crownded in there each day. As long as there is some movements, even flutters, thats good. When the movement is very, very limited then I would callt he ob to be checked. Guest guest
Hi . I'm 26 weeks and some days these little ones are so busy, I'm hoping for a teeny break so I can sit up straight or lay down to rest for a little... Then there are days when one or both of them are so quiet I'm asking them to give me a little thunk or twist so I can quit worrying. They always listen, lol. I spoke with my OB about my concerns and he told me that it isn't unusual for the babies to go through growth spurts where they will tend to sleep a little more. I was told the same thing about timing their movements and not to stress too much about how strong or soft they may be as long as they continue. I was also told to have a small glass of juice and lay on my left side 'cause this can help the little ones wake up a little. If you're really concerned that something is going on, see your OB and have him/her give you a quick check for peace of mind. Guest guest
My son doesn't move much throughout the day unless I've just eaten...but anytime I sit or lay down he is tapdancing in there!!! He's pretty much the same as his big brother....hopefully he won't have his nights and days switched like big brother too! Chrystal Wife to Jace - together 6 Years! Happy Mommy to - 4 Years Old!
