Guest guest
hi Vivian as best I recall my results took several months....are you getting the results directly from Dr Shoffner or through a physician you are working with. With myself it was the latter and may have delayed things. How did things go? Vivian
Guest guest
Vivian- I had a muscle biopsy on Sept 2nd and I don't have the results yet either. My primary doc said it could take a few months, I guess they are passing the slides around trying to make a determination. I hope you hear something soon, I know how difficult it is to wait. Guest guest
Vivian I had my biopsy over seven years ago by Dr. Shoffner. He waited until he had everything but the DNA workup and sent a report that was in the neighborhood of about 20 pages. At that time it took almost a year, but I have heard that it doesn't take that long now. I got a copy and my doctor got a copy, but again, things may have changed. I hope you get them soon. laurie > Hi Everyone, > > I went to Dr. Shoffner and had a biopsy on September 7th as well as a > number of other blood and urine, and spinal fluid test...Does anyone > have any experience of how long it takes to get results. Guest guest
My initial results took 8 weeks (testing was end of 2002), and I only recently got my genetic testing results (2.5 years). Take care, RH
