Guest guest
I'm glad , the tea lady, posted this about Die-off REactions We just started the tea one week ago, and almost immediately my son, Keegan, got the red pimples all over his chin. More than one of you told me that it was possibly a yeast rash. I did not remember reading about the Ojibwa tea helping with yeast, and so I wasn't sure about the connection. And, of course, I have continued to give him the tea, and he is having some positive results with his speech. He has pretty bad pronoun reversal, and that is starting to improve in just a week! And mind you, he is on his spring break from school, so no speech therapy or social integration. I'm amazed! But... he is also having some die-off reactions. I already mentioned the red pimples, which are now very scabby and bloody. He has been a little down and out in his moods. He seems a little extra resistant than normal. He's lost his appetite and is sleepy. I will make sure to avoid sugars now that I;ve read this post from , the tealady! And just keep up with the tea! I also want to order the perfect stool formula now that I know we're have some success with the tea! Horray!!! Ali --------------------------------------------------------------------------------\ ---------Hello Parents, Some of you have contacted me about the changes and possible behavior in you child when using the tea. In your autism information packet there is a blue colored page but perhaps if it is posted it will be easier for to refer to also. Important! Yeast craves sweets, carbohydrates, breads etc. This may be one of the reasons your child may not like the taste – your child is craving the “yeasty” type of foods. The tea has an “earthy” taste, not a sweet or yeasty taste that candid craves! Do not give up and please do not discontinue. This is part of the healing process. Please contact another mom who has been through this and she is very knowledgeable and can also assist and support your concerns and questions. She is wonderful and has been in touch with Dr, Baker’s office that said to continue the tea, etc. her email is: Vessels KVsteel1@... She is happy to answer your questions. This is in your Autism info packet but here it is again: Yeast/Fungus It may take months to get control over candid, heavy metals, and other items that you are working to detoxify in the body, it may be necessary to also do the following, IN ADDITION to the herbs, and other products that you are using for this condition: 1) Starve out yeast by avoiding sugars, starches (breads, flour products, rice, starchy vegetables, fruits, Cheese (yes, on the gfcf diet you already do this!) 2) Use other supplements as needed to balance out metabolic imbalances 3) Use a good Probiotic/Prebiotic product such as the formula we carry called Perfect Stool Formula – gluten/dairy free * has all the necessary ingredients in it and you will not need to take handfuls of other products! This will compliment the use of the tea. 4) Avoid foods that cause allergic reactions 5) With your doctor’s approval, avoid the things that caused the Candida become a problem ( i.e.. antibiotics, hormones, steroids) MOST IMPORTANT! DIE-OFF REACTIONS: some children experience this. It is a sign that the yeast and other things are dying off. This could manifest in a temporary change in behavior. When yeast, parasites, etc. are killed off, their cells break down and release their contents. These materials can be irritating and may cause symptoms. The results are that when yeast is killed off, you may temporally feel worse. Always consult a natural health care practitioner who can explain this to you, or a DAN doctor. I hope this is helpful. There is health! Many blessings, The tea Lady
Guest guest
Ali, I am so glad that you posted this. I have noticed that Evan is a lot more resistant than normal. He is almost aggressive to get to do things his way. When I took him to Save Mart today he almost fought me to get to look in the store's back rooms. He wanted to investigate. He was not mean, just determined. I hope we don't have to go through tug-a-wars like this in a couple of years because he almost won the war. He has not lost his appetite but we have just been back on the tea for a couple of weeks. I only give it to him in the morning as soon as he wakes up because that is the only time I know that he has an empty stomach!
