Guest guest
Any ideas what causes excema to get worse? Certain foods?
Guest guest
I believe it is food related. My son's skin goes crazy when he comes in contact with corn. He also has problems with mold. My MIL needs to replace the carpet in her house. She's a clean freak and has it cleaned too much. Consequently, I'm assuming the pad has gotten wet too much and caused mold to build up. If he spends even an hour at her house, his face becomes red, with little bumps. He scratches at it like a mad man. a
Guest guest
My son has had severe excema since he was 7 month old. I have always assumed it was from food allergies as he has so many. I just went to a pediatric dermatologist in Boston as his skin was so bad he no longer wanted to go swimming or bathe. I mentioned that his skin was the result of the food allergies and she said that only 5% of excema is related to foods. She recommended a lotion which I am praying is gfcf. I have been using it for a few weeks and his skin is so much better that he even willingly got in the bath last night. It is called DML forte lotion.
