Pregnacy after LAPBAND WLS anyone out there???

I don't know of anyone on the group who is prego or was with the lap band but

I don't think it is much different than rny. I think it can be done safely as

long as you can get in all your vitamins and are eating well and drinking

well. Thats pretty much all the rny people have to do also. good Luck when you

try to conceive

Is a lap band the same surgery as a vertical banded gastroplasty? I

am not familiar with the term lap band.

If it is, that is the surgery I had last yr and would be happy to

chat with you.

I had the VBG as well last year and while I'm not pregnant yet, I

hope to be soon. My dietician has given me a few guidelines that I

would be happy to share with you if you'd like.
