Guest guest
Hello everyone. I have a question for ya. I am just over 7 weeks along, so I feel like I should not be getting " bigger " yet, but man, my size 6-7-8 jeans are just NOT comfortable anymore. I can get them on, but feel way too constricted to be comfortable. Scale says I have gained one pound, but feel like it's 10. Woke up the other morning (sleep naked) and hubby goes to me " Oh honey, that's so cute, your loose skin is filling up with baby product! " LOL. I could have killed him, but he's right. I feel like I am all filled up with fluid and " puffy " all over. Is this from the increased blood volume due to pregnancy? I broke down last night and went and bought some cotton type shorts, 1 pair of maternity jean shorts and 1 pair maternity jeans. Sorry if this question is redundant, or silly, this is my first baby ever, so I am pretty clueless! C. EDD 12-31-04 WLS 08-28-

I am still losing weight... yet I am about 8 inches bigger in the belly! This is my 2nd... and I have a horizontal cut for a previous c section and a vertical cut for the RNY... I have NO muscle tone. Worse yet.. I can actually " feel " my uterus all heavy in the pelvic..and basically feeling like Shamu. So.. yes.. even for first baby with limited muscle tone you will pop out. If you think now is bad.. just you wait until 9 months!!! hee..hee.hee.hee - Mommy to: Noah - 10/14/02 - 31 weeker - 3lbs 11 oz edd November 18th http://www.love-my-kids.com
Guest guest
First of all , congrats on your first! Second of all, smack your hubby for me LOL! What a thing to say! Anyways, I started feeling very uncomfortable around 8 weeks in my size 12s....everytime I got the chance I was unzipping and unbuttoning them for relief! The maternity shorts I bought are still too big, but they are soooo comfortable! My doc told me that the " swelling " is most likely fluid and increased blood volume. I don't feel as puffy now, but still have my days. I really hate this stage in pregnancy, where your stomach is just big enough to make you look fat, without anyone being able to tell that you are pregnant Increase your water intake to get rid of excess fluid, and I hope you feel better! Guest guest
Hi , I know exactly how you feel. I am 9 weeks along, and I had to go get bigger pants 2 weeks ago. I normally wear a size 10, but at about 6- 7 weeks they became very uncomfortable. I went and got size 12 with elastic waist and they feel so much better. I tried on my size 10 jeans this weekend, and I cannot even get them buttoned now. This is my second child, and a had a tummy tuck after wls. My doc says i will show faster because this is my second child, and I was pretty flat after my tummy tuck. I have gained 1 pound so far, and some days that disapears too. I think I can see a difference in my face. It looks fuller to me, I can also notice in my chest. My hubby says the only thing he can notice is my stomack, it is round, but thats only when my clothes are off. Good luck keep me posted, we r both due in december! What a great xmas gift!
