Bess,

Congraulations! Great news.. I know just what you mean about how it's

an extra special mileestone with these babies, especially when it

happens a bit later. It warms your heart and makes you feel even more

that everything will be OK.. Enjoy your new toddler!

Hey that's great!!!!1

Hi everyone,

I just wanted to share some exciting news...Audrey, who just turned 17

months, has started walking! She started to take a few steps a few weeks

ago, then got sick for a couple of weeks which cut off the momentum she was

building. But, in the last few days, she has started walking halfway

across the room with pretty good balance!

I know you all understand the anxiety that goes into waiting for those

first steps from our clubfoot babies...just to be reassured that they will

be able to. Audrey has gotten a late start so I was even more worried but

now I feel a sense of relief mixed in with the excitement.

Yeah!

Way to go Audrey! That is awesome news. How excited you must be

Bess. I'm happy for you. I'm also waiting for my 13 month old to

That's wonderful!! Sorry I'm so behind in my congrats -- Way to go

Audrey! You said it perfectly, it is a wonderful moment when any baby

walks but I have to say it must be even more wonderful when our

clubfoot babes take those steps.
