Congratulations, my first pregnancy was twins too at 33 years old They are

awesome. you will do well. Make sure to get all your vitamins in and get some

prenatals, folic acid and make sure you are taking your calcium and b-12. Of

course show your doc all that you are taking and get their approval but that

is what mostly all of us postops are on. Good luck with everything.

My name is Laurie and I had WLS Lap RNY at the Univeristy of Penn

with Dr. . I been with my husband for 15 years and this is

my first pregnancy. I never wanted to have children at 300+ lbs and

that was one of the main reason to have WLS. I am very concerned and

scared. I am in SNJ.

Congratulations!!! Having another baby was a HUGE factor in my

decision to have WLS and now the loss of 150 lbs is being rewarded

with twins, expected between mid-late July. They'll be joining

their 13 year old brother.

I understand the concerns and fears, but a great OBGyn and lots of

prayer and support can go a long way. Keep taking part in this group

and you'll get lots of good advise.

Congratulations on your pregnancy!! I had my WLS on 10/16/02 and lost 105lbs.

before I found out that I was pregnant. This is my second child. My daughter

will be 10 in a matter of 3 weeks. She is so excited that she is having a baby
