Guest guest
Let me say i am 41 years old, had wls, have throid disease too and take levothyroxin, and am on prozac and klonopin for anxiety attacks and am still overweight since I never made it to goal. I have had gestational diabetes for my previous babies but not this time. I feel ssoo much better with this pregnancy than my others. I have 10 weeks left and have had NO morning sickness except a little naseua in the beginning and NO SWELLING at all in my feet or hands or ankles where before I could not even get my shoes and socks on at this point in pregnancy. I did have my thyroid meds go up a bit but that is more because I am not absorbing them well I think. The docs think I am doing extremely well and the baby is doing awesome, a tiny big but doing well. I am going to a regular ob who is trained in higher risk but not a high risk doc. i think you will do well and find this an easier pregnancy since you are so much lighter. I think they need to redo your glucose testing. They usually do not check it in pregnancy until 1/2 way thru. Can they give you a sugar monitor so you can test daily at home and see how it goes. Good Luck and let us know how it goes. Oh yeah, Congratulations on your pregnancy God Bless, Robin, NorthEastern, NY Age- 41 EDD- July 27th, 2004 IT'S A BOY!!!!!!
