Gillian takes hers in 1 tsp of applesauce..but that's gonna change. She

STINKS!!!!! *grin* At Easter everyone was looking for the smoked fish!!!!!

It was a giggle. I have been looking for the Solgar brand Vit A CLO gelcaps

that have 10, 0000 iu per cap that you give every 3rd day which someone

suggested last week. I am having trouble finding them. Anyone out there

have a lead on this specific dosage? I " ve found the brand with a much lower

dose at many places. A side note...her stools have begun to soften and less

straining since starting CLO last week.

this trick worked on my older child . I had him chew food then put in the

pill then swallow. Since he is of corse use to swallowing food the pill went

down with no problem. I would also love ideas on a younger child too. F

,

I'd stick with the Kirkman's brand. The reason they came out with CLO, and

the reason it's lower in Vit. A, is that it's the pure CIS form ONLY,

whereas the 10,000 iu forms have another form of Vit. A that is not

converted and bad for our kids. Plus it's mercury free.

My daughter just chews on the gelcaps until the oil is gone, then spits out

the remainder. Gross but effective.

I honestly think her eye color is returning to pure blue, rather than

blue/green with a brown center, since beginning the Kirkman CLO. She's just

got a very little brown in the center now.
