Guest guest
A while back I posted a request for GF rice krispies bar recipe to use with Barbara's Brown Rice Crisps (this is what I had on hand and somewhat readily/locally available). Well, I do believe, on the first try even, that I have a winner. Through trial but no error... someone had suggested that I use some vanilla in the krispies to add a little more flavor..so that's what I did.. I followed the recipe on the back of the jet-puffed bag for measurements I used the following ingredients 1 bag large jet-puffed marshmallows 6 cups of Barbara's brown rice crisps cereal 1 TBSP of Tone's vanilla Hain's safflower oil margarine (for the marg. to melt the marshmallows) They turned out GREAT..and had really good flavor...a lot closer to the " regular " rice krispies treats that I remembered. Anyway..thought I'd share.

The vanilla probably does the trick- can't wait to try them! Sue
