Guest guest
Hello all, since I didn't get a response to this the first time around, I am re-posting my questions: Is it advisable to write to the manufacturer on EVERY SINGLE product that is eaten by, or comes in contact with your child, even if the ingredients on the label " appear " to be ok? Do we still need to re-verify the products on the GFCF list? When writing the manufacturer, should one always ask about any risk of cross contamination issues? What's an example of a basic form letter to send? Thanks for your help. (Aidan's mom)
Guest guest
Because gluten hides alot of places, like in natural flavors or spices, yes you should call or write to every company for everything you child eats unless it specifys gluten and casien free on the box as some products at a HFS do. Yes it is advisible to re-check for yoursself foods on the gfcfdiet safe food list. Every effort is made by the site to keep current with the products but product formulations change so quickly so its best to double check. And in my opinion and experience cross contamination matters so yes I always ask about that too. F Checking GFCF Status on Products??? > Hello all, since I didn't get a response to this the first time around, I am re-posting my questions: > > Is it advisable to write to the manufacturer on EVERY SINGLE product that is eaten by, or comes in contact with your child, even if the ingredients on the label " appear " to be ok?
