Guest guest
Hi! Brett's surgery yesterday went great! Thanks so much for all your prayers. He even seems to be hearing better already. Now, on to the next thing. Our pediatric neurologist has recommended that we try a low dose of Prozac starting next week. (1/4 t for a month, then up to 1/2 t for another month if we haven't seen results yet.) The idea is that it will help calm his nervous system and therefore, reduce stimming and his auditory and tactile defensiveness. This makes perfect logical sense to me, but I am nervous about giving Prozac to a 3 year old. Has anyone else tried this? Thanks so much- I really trust y'all!
