Guest guest
RH, So sorry to hear about your bunny. That jaw abcess must really hurt the little one. It is so much harder to know when the FOUR Footed ones are in pain. I used to have 8 Old English Mastiffs in our house at one time. They were and still are the love of my life. My husband and I both call them our kids and we are named " Mommy and Poppy " And we also make sure that if something is wrong with one of the kids that their care takes priority over anything else. Right now we are down to 2 girl dogs, and the one is almost 12 yrs. old. She is on her way to becoming an Angel and then all of a sudden she will start to run around and act like a young pup, which makes you wonder if the time is really near or not. Right now she isn't in any pain so we see no reason to let her go. And if she would be in pain we have alot of medications to help with that. My other one is almost 8 yrs.old. All 8 of my kids are Fully Championed, fully-tested, and Certified Therapy Dogs through the Therapy Dog International. I did all of the showing, and breeding and therapy work by myself, and I am very proud that I didn't pay a professional handler to accomplish those goals. It would have been so much easier to pay a professional to show them but I wanted to make sure that my dogs were judged on who they are and how they represented the Breed instead of having a Judge look at the Professional handler who was on the other end of the leash.!!! Sorry to be babbling!!! How many bunnies do you have? And do you breed them and sell the babies to other people? Do you show them? I know that might sound funny to some but they do have shows for bunnies.!!! Hope your bunny is feeling better. Guest guest
Hi Ann Marie, I wonmdered what kind of dogs you had and if any were therapy certified. Do they come to visit when you are hospitalized? The girls have their service dogs with them when receiving medical care and they relieve so much of the stress. When I was hospitalized with a fracture, I couldn't wait until the girls came to visit and Brooklyn or Stitches jumped up to join me. THey have a way of making everything good:) <8 Old English Mastiffs> Joanne Kocourek (mom to , lies, and ) visit us at: http://www.caringbridge.org/il/annakris
