Guest guest
When I was pregnant people would say the same thing oh your so small!! Oh your all belly!! Are you sure your pregnant!!! People are so dumb especially when you hear this from someone who has been pregnant before. Some Women are so Jealous because maybe they were really big. I gained 8 Lbs and my baby was 6 lbs 13 ozs. Now I hear Oh my God your baby was 6 lbs 13 ozs But you were so small I can;t beleive that. Stupid I just ignore the ignorant comments. Guest guest
Its so different for each woman. If this is not your first child, you are more likely to show early. At 200 lbs, you're not as likely to have that round preggie belly as you would at a lower weight. I was around 220-230 when my son was born 13 years ago and until around 7.5 - 8 months, I just looked bigger all around. I've known small-average sized woman who go into their 9th month with only a small round belly, and women who by 6 months look as if they are ready to deliver. I personally started to show very early on, but we're having 2 babies ). I also weighed 157 at my lowest pregnancy weight, have only a small apron of post WLS skin, and have very little torso room (5'2 " ) so the babies dont have much room to grow besides out. One thing that seems universal, is that once you begin to really start showing, your belly is on fast forward from there and you may find yourself getting bigger in no time. Congrats on your first baby. What a wonderful blessing for you. Toi Lap RNY 12/31/02 EDD - 8/18/04 ->->-> Babies will be here in July Boy/Girl Twins > Okay....... Guest guest
Hi . I am now 27 weeks but I didn't start to show (to other people) until after my 6 month mark. To be honest, up until that point I felt as though I looked like I just gained weight! I was heart broken, I wanted to " look " pregnant as I was over 240 when I was pregnant with my son 10 years ago and didn't get a feeling of a real pregnancy that " average " women do (buying maternity clothes, people telling you that you look cute with that " ball " in your tummy, etc.). No one would have known I was pregnant then except when I told them-- literally. I did pop out a bit around 8.5 months but it wasn't obvious to others even at that point. Even now, depending on what I wear it isn't as obvious to people and it kills me because I think I look REALLY big! LOL I have gained 21 pounds so far with this pregnancy-- my first son I only gained 7 pounds total! Believe me, your tummy will happen and then at times you will wish it wasn't so obvious! LOL Good luck and best wishes! Ivy Kennedy 11/7/00 RNY EDD 8/22/04-- It's another boy! Big brother Jake will be 10 yrs old 9/25/04.
