Guest guest
Hi Kent, Sorry my poor english but I want to tell you that I have FOD (GA2). Before I got diagnose I was so tired and I couldn't walk more than 10 metres or climb stairs etc., even talking and swallowing was hard. There was high levels of acylcarnitines in my blood test and something else too. Well, it's long and sad story but after 10 years (!) I got my diagnose and now I have diet and I also take 100 mg riboflavine a day and I'm quite good healthy now! Yes, tired sometimes but I'm not employed now so it's not so terrible. If I can be helpfull please let me know (my husband usually helps me with english, he is not at home now..) Best wishes, Heli, 35 years old, GA2 FINLAND > >Reply-To: >To: >Subject: FODs >Date: Fri, 28 Oct 2005 18:36:57 -0000 > >Hi all, > and Brarbara recently posted information that leads me to believe >that having normal strength with early exercise but fading very fast on >repititions may be a symptom of fatty acid oxidation disorders. this >describes me to a t. as the information continues to tricke in to me, >i also recently found out a blood test in April found high levels of >acylcarnitines.
