Hi Laurie,

I had all my information available for the ambulance personnel and I

am so thankful that I took the time to type it all up. I did what you

have done and I am sure happy that i did

because that night I really needed it. I added my protocol to my package.

I remember this subject coming up on this list not too long ago and I

suggested putting one in your glove compartment b/c that is where the

EMT's will look for information or for who to contact in case of an

emergency if you

are involved in a car accident or a medical emergency happens while

you are in your car. I remember you suggesting putting one on your

fridge, which I did and thank you for that suggestion.

I do have some additions to make and I never did make one up for my

purse. I guess

it is time I do that now. I think this is something we all tend to

put off, thinking " I will

never be in that type of situation where I can't communicate with

people " or " I will

remember all my medical information " But we don't remember

everything, especially when you are in pain and out of it. Luckily my

husband was home at the time and with me.

I don't know if our Ambulance service has emergency forms to fill out

like you have but

I am going to check and if so I will add that to my medical

information. Thanks for the tip!!

You are welcome. Our hospital is where I got my form. They have them

at all the volunteer stations.
