Guest guest
Hi everyone. I have not posted in a long time, but try to keep up on the daily digests. I am 30 yrs. old, 18 weeks pregnant with our first and 13 months post-op. I lost 2.5 pounds at my second Dr.'s visit and gained 1/2 pound at the next. My next one is tomorrow and I don't think I have gained any this month either. I am not really showing unless I wear certain clothes. I can tell on myself, but no one else can unless I tell them. My question is when I am laying down on my back I can definitely feel my " little lump " and it is not as round as it is oblong. Sometimes it feels like it is bulging more to one side also. Is this normal? This is probably a silly question, but I have never been through this before and am clueless. I was diagnosed with plecenta previa at 10 weeks so I am on certain resrictions. My doctor has scheduled 5 ultrasounds in the next five weeks to make sure the placenta is moving up, which Monday's US shows that it looks like it is. Thanks for listening. Guest guest
Hi Kim... I have an OB appointment tomorrow too! I'm 15 weeks and 12.5 months post op and I know what you mean about the little bulge. No one would know that I was pregnant unless I told them, but when I lay down, there it is! The little bulge below my belly button pooching out like no body's business. Some morning's it's nice and round and hard and other's it's oval shaped and leaning towards one side or the other. I think it depends on how you've slept throughout the night and which way gravity is pulling it. As far as placenta previa, I have no answers for you. But years ago my cousin was diagnosed with placenta previa. She followed dr.s advice and delivered a beautifully healthy baby boy. Good luck! > Hi everyone. Guest guest
When I am laying down my belly is not round either. More oblong like you said. And you can really see her on one side or the other at times. Last night, you could see my whole belly moving as she was shifting positions. Or at least that is what I think she was doing.
