Guest guest
Whenever I start a new med or supplement, I have learned to take it very low and slow. This way, side effects are minimized and I can can work slowly up to an effective dose and I can also give my body time to get used to the new substance. I sometimes take capsules apart and dump most of the contents and then take a tiny amount for a week or two, then slowly increase the dose. This way my body has a chance of making a slow adjustment. Pills can be split, but NOT if they are a time-release formula. If you cut a Time Release pill, it may dump all the med at once, which you don't want to do. Check with a pharmacist about the specific pill, capsule, or med you are taking to make sure it is okay to cut it. Guest guest
Is it the DAW or the newer generic? Sorry if this is a repeat question. MitomomX3@... wrote: >ramping up slowly, she only had 1/2 of one pill. > > > >
Guest guest
Hi , My girls have had some nasty experiences with some of the supplements. As a result we have tried several different brands of CoQ10. we also had to switch back to the trade (Sigma Tau) Carnitor. Both had GI symptoms when the pharmacy changes to the generic. It seems to be the binders that cause their distress. --- MitomomX3@... wrote: > My daughter is allergic to just about everything.. > she started COQ10 and got very sick to her stomach > ..the other day I put her > on carnitor and she ended up in the nurses office > after just one dose, > headache, nausea, an overall flu feeling...has > anyone else had this? > > > > [Non-text portions of this message have been > removed] > > Joanne Kocourek (mom to , lies, and ) visit us at: http://www.caringbridge.org/il/annakris

Guest guest
I could not handle the pill form of Carnitor--this is back in 2000. Something about the other ingredients in the pill form. Switched to the liquid and am fine. But, start low and ramp up as said. I had severe diahrea when I started on 1/2 dosage. Janet Sample Re: : sick from carmitor Is it the DAW or the newer generic?
