I have a small request for all of you...

Our group has limited memory space on Yahoo's servers because we're on the

FREE plan... lol... meaning my husband the minister does NOT get paid enough

for me to spend the money on premium group hosting services. haha

Anyway, we're inching closer to our capacity, and here's what's doing it:

PHOTOS. Not the photos we get to look at, though. It's that many of you have

uploaded very high resolution versions of your photos. Yahoo gives you the

option of just uploading a small file for viewing purposes only, and gives

you the option of uploading high-resolution photos so you'll be able to

order prints from their photo service. I'm thinking that we're not in this

to order prints of one another's photos! So could you ladies (and gentleman)

please NOT fill your box with 25 high-resolution photos? It would be

super-helpful, too, if you could limit your photos to 4 or 5 at the most.

That will certainly go a long way toward saving space on our list. I'd

rather not delete the early posts if I can help it, although it will

eventually have to happen, I'm sure. As it is, I'm having to comb through

everyone's photo file and manually delete each and every high-resolution

photo (I'm leaving the low-resolution version up, so people will still be

able to see all of them).

That being said, I am also trying to judiciously delete photo files from

people who haven't been an active group participant in a year or more...

hopefully all of this work will help pare down the amount of server space

we're taking up.
