Guest guest
The only post-pap spotting was after my 7 wk prenatal visit. The NP forewarned me about it. According to a past post on this list, one explanation is that preg cervixes are more vascular. Makes sense. WlsMomma 10 weeks too! > Hi everyone. Guest guest
My ob wants me to have one at my next appointment. Ugh, I surely don't want to do it, but I guess I will. I surely hate to panic if I start spotting. Dreading it already and it's over 3 weeks away! Jeri WLS 12/10/02 EDD 12/06/04 -135lbs > Hi everyone. Guest guest
I have spotted after most of the pap smears I've had, and remember spotting when I had a pap during the first trimester of my pregnancy. The doctor assured me all was well, and it was. As long as the spotting does not increase in amount you should be fine, but realize that if blood pools in the vagina then comes out later, it can look like " clots " or a large amount. Just watch it too make sure you are not having consistent blood flow that is increasing in amount. Try not to worry! Good luck!
