We had 80% of the shoes covered by insurance. We have a deductible we

had to meet first. Check with your insurance co. an find out if you

have a DME deductible. We are due for a new pair and I will just

submit them towards this years deductible. The code we used was

L3252. I know someone else on the board used L3250 and had luck

getting reimburst. The code for the bar is L3150 but you don't get a

new bar everytime. I just spoke to a few days ago when

Ava's shoe was breaking. He said he has a new code for the shoes to

be covered. I will just have to wait an see when I submit the

receipt. O'h, you would also need to submit a letter of medical

necessity. Your Doctor would give you that. HTH

> Hi. I was wondering at what point I need to order new

shoes for . His big toe is now just at the edge of the shoe.

The other toes still have about 1/2 centimeter. Can the toes hang

over the edge a bit? Also, I read on someone's entry, that his shoes

are being covered by insurance. Please could you tell me more, as

these shoes are on the expensive side!!
