Guest guest
(((((Adam and e)))))) Sounds like a nightmare! I am so glad that things are okay, but you guys must be EXHAUSTED! I don't know if this is for the same reason, but I had bleeding from weeks 6-12. I am now 16 weeks + 4 days (lol, who's counting right?)... They couldn't find the source of my bleeding on three early u/s, but on the fourth u/s at 12 weeks, they found what is called a subchorionic bleed, moderate. Sometimes as your placenta stretches and attaches to the uterus, there are superficial type blood vessels on the uterus that get broken. Then there is a collection of blood that happens between the uterus and placenta...gravity being what it is, the blood gets expelled vaginally. The uterus and placenta are both very vascular. I was told that sometimes these bleeds just seal themselves off and that this can happen during early preg and sometimes in later preg too. I think it must have sealed off for me (at least I hope so) because the wierdest thing is - when they actually could see the bleed on u/s at 12 + weeks, I hadn't bled for a few days before the u/s and haven't bled since...So whatever they saw then I am assuming was reabsorbed... Hope you guys get some rest...Did e actually have the IVP after all that, or did it need to be rescheduled? I am curious though - are they able to use the dye when you are preg? Or do they do it without? Guest guest
I do hope that e and the baby are OK. That must have been pretty scary - I hope they find answers. This is my first so I have no idea why this might happen - You 3 are in my thoughts and prayers. - Diane > What a night what a night!! e and I woke up yesterday morning to get ready to go to the hospital because she had a scheduled IVP to take because she has blood in her urine...that is the test to check her bladder and kidneys for stones and infections...wekk that was at 10...she woke up about 8 and said adam we need to go now...im bleeding...so we hurried to the hospital...they admitted her and put her on the monitors...they did and ultrasound to see if it was placxenta previa or anything else...nothing...she stayed over night for observation...the baby is super fine nothing wrong...we still do not know why she is bleeding...well the bleeding stopped...now keep in mind this happened about 15 weeks ago but worse...she was 11w2d...still they did not know why it happened...any word as to what you all think this is?!?! > > > Adam & e Gaspard > RNY 04.07.03 > e 370/245 > Adam 394/258 > EDD #1 08.31.04 > Kay Independent Beauty Consultant > www.marykay.com/starbound107 > " That which does not kill us, > makes us stronger " > > >
Guest guest
Thnak you for your response...no they have to rescheduel the IVP...Don't know why they didn't to it while she was lying in the hospital...they never said anything about the dye being harmful...all they said was the diffference in an IVP on a non pregnant woman is that they only do one Still shot for pregnant women...as apposed to many when you are not...
