I called Nestle. They only have a financial " relief " package for

those who are at the " poverty " level. They were no help at all.

I am so sorry to hear about Max's trouble, and I wish I could help

out, I have read many old posts and know how you have helped so many

others over the years. Only thing I can think of is if Max can get a

medicaid waiver someone posted that it does not have income limit.

SSI does so I dont know if that is available to Max. But over the

years you have explored these options most likely. You and Max are in

my thoughts and prayers.

Thanks, Sabina. I don't know about the Medicaid waiver, but I do

know that New Jersey has a castrophic children's illness fund. We

DO qualify for that because it is based on the percentage of our

income that we used for medical expenses for Max. Currently the

rate is 10%. My husband told me over the weekend that last year we

spent $30,000, so I called for the paperwork and will apply to get

that money back from the state. That should help pay for this

year's stuff if it does not take too long to get the money. Then we

can apply for this year next year at this time.

I'll let everyone know more once we enter the adventure of getting

all the receipts and proof of expenses, etc. That will be hard

since we are not great at keeping that stuff around. I just knew it

would catch up with us someday!
