Guest guest
I have been having severe round ligament pain for about 3 days. I am 36 weeks pregnant with twins. Tylenol is all my OB recomends. I go twice a week for Non stress tests now. Well today when i went i was having contractions. They gave me a shot to stop them and so far they have not returned. Has anyone found anything to help with this ligament pain??? any suggestions would help. I'm miserable!! I'm hoping maybe they will subside since the contractions aren't and issue at the moment. thank you for any input you guys may have!! Guest guest
I think your babies are getting ready for childbirth and are heading down. With all the weight of them in there your pelic floor muscles are probably not holding up as well anymore. Thats how I felt with my twins and I had them at 33weeks. Could you possibly get something to hold up your belly for support? They sell those belly support things but i am not sure where and i have never used one but heard they work wonders and help witht he back also. I'm surprised they stopped your labor at 36 weeks, most would just let you go at that stage. Good luck with everything. Guest guest
Hi Pam, I'm currently 29 weeks along with boy/girl twins and I get pretty severe round ligament pain (mostly on my left side since that is where most of their combined weight is), especially at night when I " try " to roll over. Tylenol is my doc's recommended med, although he has prescribed me Tylenol 3 for severe back pain and migraines. I chose not to use the T3, however, and figure these pains are just something I'm going to have to deal with. Congratulations on getting to you 36th week! I hope to make it as far as you ) Toi > I have been having severe round ligament pain for about 3 days. I am > 36 weeks pregnant with twins. Tylenol is all my OB recomends.
