I have just been diagnosed with mito. My blood work had high lactic

acid level. Just learning. Wanted to say high and hope to get to know

people more. I have so much to learn. Has anyone done anything

special with their diets since being diagnosed? Like cutting out carbs?

Dietary modification is generally specific to the defect identified. My girls

have defects in Complex I, III, IV and ANT. They require a diet high in complex

cards with extremely low fat (less then 40 G/day).

What complex(s) do they think are affected? How

extensive was your bloodwork? Is the cocktail working?
